Hoy les
queremos contar sobre una organización sin fines de lucro que quizás sea nueva
para ustedes, pero que realiza una labor muy importante en nuestro país y de la
que vale la pena hablar y darles un gran aplauso, me refiero a X-Ellas's.
Today we want to tell you about a
non-profit organization that may be new to you, but that does a very important
job in our country and worth talking about and give them great applause, I mean
X-Ellas's.
Esta
organización es creada con la finalidad de establecer acciones de lucha contra
la Trata y Tráfico de personas, impulsando mecanismos de prevención,
persecución y sanción de dichos delitos en nuestra sociedad.
This organization is created with the
purpose of establishing actions to fight against Trafficking and Trafficking,
promoting mechanisms for prevention, prosecution and punishment of such crimes
in our society.
X-Ella´s está
orientada a facilitar una adecuada incorporación
sanitaria, social y laboral de las personas víctimas de esta problemática,
promoviendo su acceso a los recursos públicos y fomentando su autonomía
personal, empoderamiento e integración a la sociedad.
X-Ella's is oriented to facilitate an
adequate incorporation to health, social and labor of the victims of this
problem, promoting their access to public resources and promoting their
personal autonomy, empowerment and integration to society.
Bajo el lema “Con la trata, NO
hay trato”, X-Ella´s
trabaja de manera integral, enfocada en brindar apoyo médico, sicológico,
socioeconómico, protección y seguridad.

Treatment", X-Ella's works in a comprehensive way, focused on providing
medical, psychological, socio-economic, protection and security support.
“La Trata y el Tráfico de Personas es un delito
que ha ido creciendo durante los últimos años en el país por lo cual,
venimos llevando a cabo esfuerzos para hacerle frente a esta problemática;
impulsando y ejecutando iniciativas y proyectos integrales que garanticen un
ejercicio de prevención adecuado así como la denuncia ante las autoridades
competentes”, resaltó Daniel Silva, de atención a víctimas de X-ellas.
"Trafficking in Persons is a crime
that has been growing during the last years in the country and we have been
making efforts to deal with this problem; Promoting and executing comprehensive
initiatives and projects that guarantee an adequate prevention exercise as well
as the complaint to the competent authorities, "said Daniel Silva, from X-them.
Según
Comisión Nacional para la Prevención de Delitos de Explotación Sexual
(CONAPREDES), informó que en Panamá Centro se registraron 170 casos; seguido de
Chiriquí y Panamá Oeste con 140, y Bocas del Toro y Coclé con 103 con un Total
de 413 de casos registrados. (Mayo 2017).
According to the National Commission for
the Prevention of Crimes of Sexual Exploitation (CONAPREDES), reported that in
Central Panama there were 170 cases; Followed by Chiriquí and Panama West with
140, and Bocas del Toro and Coclé with 103 with a total of 413 registered
cases. (May 2017).
Según
estadísticas del Ministerio Publico en el mes de abril se han realizado 310
casos a nivel nacional por violaciones, pornografía infantil, proxenetismo y
violación agravada, razón por la cual se ve cada vez más la gravedad de esta
problemática en el país.
According to statistics from the Public
Ministry in the month of April, 310 cases have been carried out at the national
level for violations, child pornography, procuring and aggravated rape, which
is why the seriousness of this problem is increasingly seen in the country.
La Trata de Personas se ha convertido en la tercera
actividad ilícita a nivel mundial por detrás del comercio de drogas o
sustancias ilícitas y el tráfico de armas. En este tema, la Organización de las
Naciones Unidas (ONU) sustenta que actualmente cerca de dos millones y
medio de individuos son víctimas de este crimen en todo el mundo.
Trafficking has become the third largest
illicit activity worldwide behind the drug trade or illicit substances and arms
trafficking. In this regard, the United Nations (UN) maintains that currently
about two and a half million individuals are victims of this crime around the
world.
